Android doesn't offer a recycle bin that stores your deleted files unlike a computers trash 🗑️ system. Instead, most android apps manage their own trash. You have to manually empty the trash system to free up your phones storage.

Make sure you are okay with permanently loosing all the files in your trash. You can't recover them once they are gone!
How To Empty The Trash In Files By Google

In the menu, select trash. In the trash section or page, select all your deleted files by choosing all items. Then, at the bottom, tap delete. In the prompt that appears, choose delete.
Files by Google will permanently delete your trashed files for good, and you are done.
Empty Trash In Google Photos
To clear your deleted photos and videos in Google Photos, first launch the app on your android device. In photos button bar, tap Library.
On the Library screen at the top, tap Trash. On the trash page, in the top-right-corner, tap the three dots. From the three dots menu, select Empty trash.
In the prompt, choose Allow to confirm your choice.
